European Commission

The advisory committees of the European Commission and its agencies are forums of independent experts, with participants offering recommendations and advice in the drafting of European Union legislation, also providing information about problems related to the implementation of the legislative acts in member states. The aim is to evaluate the need for amendments, as well as to discuss important issues for the various sectors. LDDK representatives take part in various thematic committees that provide consultations to the EC before and during the drafting of legal acts, focusing on the needs of businesspeople in each specific area and also trying to reduce administrative burdens as much as possible.

The LDDK is represented in the following EC advisory committees and councils:

  • The European Social Dialogue Committee
  • The European Social Fund Committee
  • The European Commission Advisory Committee on Social Security Regime for Guest Workers
