IOE

The International Organisation of Employers (IOE) represents the interests of employers at the international level, dealing with aspects of social policy and taking part in the work of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). The IOE joins together 150 national employer organisations from 143 countries, and is the largest representative of the interests of the private sector at the global level. The LDDK is actively involved in the work of the IOE in order to ensure that employment and social policies drafted at the international level facilitate entrepreneurship and the creation of new jobs, to strengthen the capacity of the LDDK and its members, to develop and strengthen independent and autonomous organisations of employers, and to facilitate public information about employment issues. The LDDK joined the IOE in June of 1994.
