Representation of interests

The Employers’ Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) is the only employers’ organization that represents the interests of employers in discussions with representatives of the government, municipalities, and trade unions.

LDDK monitors the development of policy planning documents and regulatory acts, and regularly sends drafts of regulations affecting members’ interests for feedback at the project stage.

LDDK has the right to propose amendments to laws and Cabinet of Ministers regulations to eliminate administrative barriers and obstacles to economic and business development.

Meetings are organized with company and industry experts, inviting representatives of relevant state institutions to ensure that regulatory acts and policy planning documents align with the interests of employers.

LDDK ensures that the interests of employers and industry companies are taken into account during the development of laws and other regulatory acts.
