The Employers’ Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) is implementing the European Social Fund Plus project “Development of social dialogue by strengthening the capacity of the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia to participate in legislative, national reform and collective bargaining processes” (No. 4.3.4.4/1/23/I/001).
Supervisory authority: Central Finance and Contracting Agency.
Responsible authority: State Chancellery.
The aim of the project is to ensure the capacity of LDDK – the largest organization representing employers in Latvia and the organization that ensures the representation of employers’ and employees’ interests in national-level tripartite social dialogue institutions (NTSP and its sub-councils) – as a social partner organization to participate in social dialogue at all levels, including collective bargaining, thereby promoting quality employment across sectors.
Horizontal activities:
- Information and publicity measures, including communication and visual identity requirements:
- Conferences, seminars, discussions, publications;
- Development of the organization’s strategy;
- Development and implementation of public relations strategies.
Main activities:
- Capacity-building measures: participation in EU and international events, committees, and working groups;
- Public opinion barometer/index;
- Analytical assessments/comparative analysis on current issues (modernization of labor law, tax modeling);
- Development of organizational strategies;
- Public events organized by LDDK;
- Conducting expert assessments, research, expert opinions, and analyses.
