LDDK Annual Awards 2024 Presented

On 14 November 2024, the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) held the Annual Awards Ceremony at the Palladium Concert Hall. The largest employers were awarded in 10 different categories, highlighting their contribution to the country’s priority areas and achievements in business.

In the category "For the company's contribution to strengthening defense – for the support provided in promoting Ukraine's defense capabilities", the award was presented to AS "Latvijas finieris".

In the category "For the company's support in promoting public health and the health sector", the award was presented to Rīga Stradiņš University.

In the category "For the company's support to educational institutions (education and research), investments in their infrastructure and the educational process", the award was presented to AS "Mikrotīkls".

In the LDDK Annual Award category "Excellence in Entrepreneurship 2024", the subcategory "Contribution to Business Development" award was presented to AS "Balticovo", while in the subcategory "Contribution to Promoting Business Sustainability" the award was presented to AS "Cēsu alus".

In the "Excellence in Entrepreneurship 2024" category, the subcategory "Contribution to Employee Well-being" award was presented to SIA "Schwenk Latvia", while in the subcategory "Contribution to Brand Development" the award was presented to AS "CleanR Grupa".

In the "Contribution to the Development of Social Dialogue in 2024" category, the subcategory "For the company's contribution to promoting social dialogue in 2024" award was presented to SIA "Laflora", while in the subcategory "For the association's contribution to promoting social dialogue in 2024" the award was presented to the Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Association (LETERA).

In the "Entrepreneur of the Year 2024" category of the LDDK Annual Awards, the award was presented to Eva Sietiņsone, Chairwoman of the Board of "Cēsu alus".

This year, candidates for the LDDK Annual Award nominations could be put forward by any LDDK member, while the winners were determined with the assistance of cooperation partners – representatives from the Free Trade Union Confederation of Latvia, the State Revenue Service, the State Labour Inspectorate, as well as SIA "Lursoft IT".
