Andris Bite, Member of the Board of SIA “Karavela”, has been elected as President of the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia (LDDK) for the next three years.
He will be joined on the LDDK Council by 14 Council members – a decision taken at today’s LDDK General Assembly, attended by 118 employer representatives.

I would like to thank all LDDK members for their active involvement both in everyday work and in today’s meeting. I also congratulate both the current and newly elected Council members for the trust shown by the members and wish us all a successful three years ahead, both in business and in the social dialogue process,"
said LDDK President Andris Bite after his election.

Alongside Andris Bite, the following have been elected to the LDDK Council for the next three years:

• Ināra Pētersone, Executive Director, Health Care Employers’ Association
• Edgars Pīgoznis, Member of the Board, Latvian Private and Venture Capital Association

A total of 118 members participated in the LDDK General Assembly, representing 75% of the total membership, indicating high member activity and appreciation of the work carried out so far.
A pre-assembly member survey also showed that LDDK members value the organization’s work highly and that member satisfaction continues to grow.
