Procedure of joining LDDK
By becoming a member of the LDDK you receive an opportunity to influence actions at both levels – corporate/associate and national level, as well as the opportunity to participate in social dialogue and make considerable changes to regulatory enactments that influence the relations of employers with state, employees and society at large.
Who can become a member of the Confederation:
- Employers’ organizations registered in Latvia (Field Industry Associations, Regional Associations, Enterpreneurs’ Clubs)
- Enterprises that, on the basis of labor contract, employ no less than 50 employees.
Documents to be submitted
Associations:
- A filled in, signed and sealed application form (in accordance with the common practice, the application should be signed by the head of the association or their authorized person).
- A copy of association’s registration card.
- Power of Attorney of the authorized person to represent the association at the LDDK (sealed with the stamp of the association).
- A list of associate members – enterprises (name and place – city, district).
- A filled in survey of appointed representatives for work in expert working groups.
Enterprises:
- A filled in, signed and sealed application form (in accordance with the common practice, the application shall be signed by the head of the enterprise or their authorized person).
- A copy of the enterprise’s or associations registration card.
- Power of Attorney of the authorized person to represent the enterprise at the LDDK (sealed with the stamp of the enterprise).
- A filled in survey of appointed representatives for work in expert working groups.
Evaluation of the documents submitted
After receiving the documents, the Directorate of the LDDK informs the applicant about the Board’s meeting of LDDK which will consider the admission of the applicant to the LDDK.
